Volunteer for Health Partners

Health Partners operates almost exclusively as a volunteer service. On-site primary medical care is administered by qualified volunteer physicians and nurse practitioners who prescribe medications, make referrals to a panel of specialty physicians, and provide consultations for test results. Registered nurses screen patients and provide health education as needed. Volunteer pharmacists oversee the clinic's on-site dispensary, fill new presecriptions and refill medications for patients. Our dentist performs routine cleanings and does minor and major restorative work. Health Partners also has a volunteer administrative staff, consisting of day and evening volunteers. The administrative staff assists the Executive Director by maintaining and updating patient medical records, performing data entry, scheduling patient for appointments, conducting financial screenings, and providing additional support whenever requested.

Health Partners is a volunteer-based organization. With the exception of the Executive Director and a part-time administrative person, the clinic relies on volunteer support to help maintain the clinic's operational activities. We need your help.
